Canadian tennis champ, Eugenie Bouchard, has racked up an impressive win record of almost 300 matches. Back in 2014, she almost snagged the championship trophy at Wimbledon, but it wasn’t just trophies she aced. Bouchard recently revealed that tennis has blessed her with more than just victories.
In a social media move that got everyone buzzing, she traded her tennis racket for a rake, posing in a teeny-weeny bikini while tackling some yard work!
The 29-year-old athlete shared a series of Instagram photos showcasing her trimming hedges and wielding garden tools, humorously highlighting her unique gardening attire.
During a recent podcast interview, she revealed that tennis played a significant role in boosting her confidence in her sex appeal.
Tennis, she explained on “Not Alone, a Podcast with Valeria Lipovetsky,” is inherently great for showcasing sex appeal. The sport features short skirts and tank tops, making it visually engaging on television.
This immediate appeal translated into lucrative marketing opportunities off the court, including multiple invitations to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Exploring this glamorous avenue was a priority for her, as she embraces it as a fundamental aspect of her identity.
Bouchard noted that she increasingly enjoyed the attention and began embracing the idea of coming out of her shell. She mentioned that expanding her fan base and audience not only helped her secure better brand deals and endorsements but also benefited tennis as a whole.
