Pop singer Katy Perry is returning to the music scene this summer with a brand new song titled “Woman’s World.” This track will be the lead single from her upcoming sixth album, which has yet to be officially revealed. “Woman’s World” marks Perry’s first release since her 2020 album “Smile,” and fans are thrilled to hear new music from her.

She shared her news on Instagram with a picture of her single cover featuring herself. The immediate standout is her outfit.

Katy wears a small white crochet bikini with a halter top that reveals a lot. She pairs this with metallic leg coverings that reach her hips, giving her a part-robotic, centaur-like appearance.

The metallic legs are designed by French artist Victor Clavelly, who is known for working with brands like Rick Owens. Clavelly’s own label often explores sculptural designs and a sci-fi style.

Katy Perry’s last album, a collection of 12 songs released in 2020, showcased her signature energetic style. After that, she spent most of the past two years entertaining audiences with a special show in Las Vegas.

In 2023, she marked a milestone – 15 years since her very first album launch, which included popular songs like “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot N Cold.”

The chart-topping singer, a mom of a three-year-old, says her new album reflects her current happiness and fulfillment, even if some might find it less edgy.

The singer, who has a three-year-old daughter named Daisy with her fiancé Orlando Bloom, revealed that her upcoming album is influenced by her sense of happiness and completeness.

Despite some artists considering this approach “boring,” she feels it is a reflection of pure joy and celebration. Her new work contrasts the idea that music must come from a place of struggle, embracing brightness, fun, and a party-like atmosphere instead.
