A popular Netflix period drama has captivated audiences with its central couple’s romance. But the actress behind a beloved character has surprised fans with a new role in a modern clothing line.

Nicola Coughlan recently launched her first campaign for a popular shapewear brand. The ad campaign features her in a comfortable clothing line, showcasing her figure in a natural setting.

On June 17, the actor introduced her first campaign for Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line, SKIMS. Lady Whistledown would be thrilled, though Regency-era London might be in shock. Nicola models three different outfits from the brand’s soft lounge collection in the advertisement, showcasing her stunning figure against a lovely natural backdrop.

It’s no surprise that Coughlan is featured in a SKIMS campaign, given Kardashian’s enthusiasm for Bridgerton. In 2022, Coughlan shared with Bustle that Kardashian had reached out to her directly to chat about the Netflix series. The unexpected message left her both amused and bewildered by the surreal encounter.

In one shot, she models a stretch-jersey Long Slip Dress with a straight neckline and spaghetti straps, in the limited-edition “Lemonade” color. Another photo features the same dress, priced at $80, in the “Sugar Plum” shade, making her look like a fairy princess among wildflowers under a dreamy sky. She also wears a long-sleeve stretch-jersey dress in the classic “Heather Grey” color.

The actress from the popular period drama posted a campaign picture on social media with a catchy line about how everyone loves the brand. Many fans, including her co-star, showed their approval. The brand’s owner also gave the actress a shoutout for her stunning lime green look.
