British singer Rita Ora, with her 16.1 million Instagram followers, recently showcased a stunning new hairstyle in her social media series “Garden Sessions.” This relaxed video series features her performing new versions of songs, covers, and more.
In her post, she wrote, “Introducing my new Garden Sessions! I wanted to share something special between me and you, my amazing fans. I love performing, so expect new versions of music, covers, and more. What songs do you want to hear next?”
Rita’s outfit was a playful mix of textures. Tiny sequined shorts peeked out from under sheer black tights. On top, she sported a delicate lace top in a soft cotton, adding a touch of whimsy.
To complete the look, she donned a patterned coat with fluffy fringes, channeling a fun and flirty vibe.
Her natural waves cascaded down her shoulders, and to add some extra length and volume, she’d incorporated waist-length extensions, giving her hair a touch of fairytale princess charm.
Known for pushing boundaries in fashion and beauty, Rita Ora recently took a surprising turn towards a timeless look. Ditching her signature femme fatale vibe, she embraced a classic and effortless style. Her voluminous caramel waves, perfectly tousled like beachy perfection, were the envy of many.
Encouraging her followers to “SLAY your day and the rest of the week,” the singer took glamorous selfies from multiple angles, highlighting her luxurious locks.
Rita’s luminous blow-dry found its perfect partner in operatic makeup. Flawless skin served as the canvas for a touch of rose-hued blush, while a nude matte lip kept the focus on her naturally beautiful features. Perfectly shaped brows added a touch of definition, completing the look and highlighting her already striking face.
In case you missed it, Rita Ora is known for her cascading mermaid waves.
In May this year, Rita Ora revealed a challenging period in her career when she experienced significant hair loss due to extensive styling. This experience led her to co-create the newly launched haircare line, Typebea, with Vida Glow founder Anna Lahey.
Ora explained at the official launch of the brand in London that after almost a decade in the industry, her hair had endured heat styling, color changes, cuts, and extensions. She reached a point where she felt she had hardly any hair left, which significantly impacted her confidence.
Ora, who has also served as a judge on TV talent shows such as The Masked Singer, The X Factor, and The Voice UK, and presented America’s Next Top Model, now adds beauty brand founder to her resume.
Reflecting on her many hair transformations over the years, from waist-length waves and curly extensions to sleek bobs, she admitted that she had focused too much on the appearance of her hair rather than its health, necessitating a redefined relationship with her hair.
She highlighted the pressure of being in the public eye, where having a bad hair day feels unacceptable. Ora found it surprising that a healthy relationship with her hair had been neglected for so long, spending much of her career prioritizing specific looks, colors, and styles. It was only when her hair reached a critical condition that she realized the need to prioritize its health.
Ora expressed her current satisfaction with her shorter hairstyle, attributing her renewed confidence to embracing her natural hair and the benefits of using Typebea.
She emphasized that when her hair feels healthy and great, it boosts her confidence, allowing her to feel sexy and ready to conquer anything, even without makeup.
