Kate Hudson spent her birthday this year snuggled up with her kids. She posted a bunch of photos on Instagram on Sunday, April 21, from her 45th birthday bash. One of the pictures showed her cuddling in bed with two of her children, 12-year-old son Bingham and 5-year-old daughter Rani.
The actress captioned her photos. “Thank you for all the wishes yesterday for my birthday! I got all the fuzzy feels.
Hudson has a son named Bingham with her former fiancé, Matt Bellamy. She had her daughter Rani in 2018 with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, whom she started dating in 2016. Hudson’s first child, Ryder, who is now 20, was born in 2004 with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson.
She openly talks about how she co-parents her children with three different men. In November 2022, she told The Sunday Times that while it might not seem conventional from the outside, she feels they’re doing a great job internally. She believes the bond she’s formed with her three children, each from a different father, is very strong and unique.
She added that her main aim in life is to both feel and give love. She also mentioned being practical and taking things one day at a time. She emphasizes putting effort into relationships because she values them.
In 2019, Hudson expressed gratitude for her co-parenting relationships with Robinson and Bellamy. Speaking on Laura Wasser’s “Divorce Sucks!” podcast, she described herself as fortunate despite not recommending her situation to everyone. She highlighted the uniqueness of each partnership and how they managed to work things out.
She also noted that divorce doesn’t mean the end of a relationship but rather a transformation into a different kind of relationship. She acknowledged that there would be ups and downs, good days and bad days, just like in any relationship.
Regarding Hudson and Fujikawa, they got engaged back in 2021, but it doesn’t appear they’re any closer to getting married.
Fujikawa served as the vocalist and guitarist for the Los Angeles-based band Chief. The group unveiled their EP “The Castle Is Gone” in 2009, followed by their first full-length album, “Modern Rituals,” in 2010, before disbanding in June 2011.
In 2013, he teamed up with Chris Acosta, the lead singer of The Delta Mirror, to establish Lightwave Records. The duo’s intention, as stated on the company’s Facebook page, was to provide a means for releasing their music independently.
In February 2023, on the “Table for Two” podcast, she mentioned that currently, the idea of planning a wedding seems overwhelming. However, she expressed excitement about the prospect. Reflecting on her first wedding to Robinson, which was very small, she admitted to wavering between wanting a grand celebration and a more intimate affair.
She elaborated that there are two sides to her desires: one craving a big, extravagant bash, and the other longing for a small, intimate gathering. She concluded that she might end up incorporating elements of both into her eventual wedding plans.
Kate Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn, also commemorates her daughter’s 45th birthday! On Friday, April 19, the actress posted a heartfelt throwback photo on Instagram. The picture shows a lovely moment of mother-daughter affection, where they embrace while dressed in matching white tank tops and blue jeans.
